How to Book Appointment for COVID-19 Vaccination by Phone and Online?

Everyone living in Ontario will have access to free, safe & effective COVID-19 vaccines. While vaccination is not mandatory, everyone is strongly encouraged to get vaccinated. Vaccines are safe and effective way to reduce the spread of Covid-19 and to lower the risk of hospital admission by more than 80 per cent.

COVID-19 mass immunization clinics are open from March 12, 2021 in Toronto from eligible residents. Eligible residents who receive their first dose of vaccine in the coming week will have their second dose by early summer and be able to enjoy beautiful summer days knowing they have protection against COVID-19. Until Toronto residents get the second dose, they should still continue wearing a mask and physically distancing themselves from others.

There are several options to book appointments for a Covid-19 vaccination. COVID-19 vaccinations are being conducted in hospitals, City operated clinics and participating pharmacies. Due to different stabilities of the various vaccines, Toronto residents can only be vaccinated with the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines through hospitals, while the AstraZeneca vaccine is reserved for pharmacies. If you decide to book an online vaccination, an email or cell phone is required. Many older Torontonians, especially those without a cell phone or access to the internet, were disappointed that they could book appointments in person in pharmacies or as walk-ins. Public Health Toronto attempted to take care of these seniors by setting up phone booking that requires only a landline.
